    Product Description:

    The Roller Crusher, operates on the core principle of using two counter-rotating rollers to crush or split feed material entering the gap between them through friction and compressive forces. In brick plants, it is primarily used for intermediate and fine crushing of raw materials (such as shale, coal gangue, clay, sludge) that have undergone primary crushing (e.g., by a jaw crusher). Its purpose is to further reduce the material to a fine particle size (typically 0-3mm, 0-5mm, or finer) suitable for subsequent mixing, aging, and forming processes (such as extrusion or pressing).

    Core Structure and Working Principle:

    Main Components:

    Rollers (Core Parts): Typically two, classified as the fixed roller and the adjustable (movable) roller. The roller surfaces come in various types like smooth, toothed (wolf teeth), or hard-faced with wear-resistant patterns, to suit different materials and crushing requirements.

    Transmission System: Includes the motor, reducer, and couplings or V-belts, driving the two rollers to rotate in opposite directions.

    Adjustment Device: Used to adjust the gap (discharge opening) between the movable and fixed rollers, thereby controlling the product size. Springs or hydraulic systems are commonly used to provide adjusting pressure and overload protection.

    Working Principle:
    Material is fed via a feeder into the gap between the two rollers. Driven by friction and gravity, it is drawn into the continuously narrowing gap. As the gap decreases, the material is subjected to increasing compressive and shear forces until it fractures. The crushed product discharges by gravity from below. The discharge size is controlled by adjusting the gap between the two rollers.
